By at least doubling the current survival rate for the next generation of women, we will save 8000 Australian women over a decade and more than 1.3 million women world-wide. Our SOLUTION In response to the findings of the State of the Nation independent report, we have set out a clear path to achieve our vision of every woman, everywhere – free from the threat of ovarian cancer. We propose a step-change of improvements in survival outcomes in line with the rate and requirements of progressive and innovative research. We want to improve survival rates to 50 per cent for women today. by rapidly implementing recent best practice advances in clinical practice nationally. We want to improve 5-year survival rates beyond 50 per cent for the next generation of women. by funding new and innovative personalised treatments.
