26 Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation Consumer Centric Practice This year there was a strong focus on strengthening the role of consumers in every part of the OCRF business. To ensure we focused on our consumers’ priorities, we conducted a survey and developed some key actions to support their role, impact, and collaborative capability. One of the first actions was to conduct our inaugural Community Ambassador and Consumer Representative Panel Professional Development Day, with sessions on key areas of interest such as creating impact when presenting, personal branding, media training, the status of research and an introduction to Government. This will be the first of many such opportunities for our dedicated supporters.
