29 Annual Report 2021 Spotlight on a new partner New partner, Daily Blooms sprung to life in June supporting the OCRF through sales of its gorgeous peony bouquets, and at-checkout donation option. In addition to fundraising, Daily Blooms exposed the dangers of ovarian cancer and the importance of research into early detection and improved treatment to their database of more than 80,000 Australian women, social following of almost 50,000 on Instagram and influencer list of more than 50 high-profile women. Sharing the personal story of OCRF Ambassador, Charmaine Suter through the Daily Blooms communications inspired a sell-out of peonies and almost $7,000 in donations over a two-week period. the strength of our relationships saw all our partnerships survive, and many even thrive. The OCRF were the recipients of $12,000 from team members. Workplace Giving in Action Workplace giving is a growing component of OCRF fundraising. Wilson Asset Management is an independently owned investment manager based in Sydney, with a passion for making a difference. Every year the firm gives each of its staff $10,000 to donate to charity in any which way they choose. The OCRF were the recipients of $12,000 from team members Isabel Mills and Camilla Cox, who chose to each give to ovarian cancer research as it is a cause close to their hearts.
